Focus of the M2DC meeting held in Ljubljana, 15-16 May, was on the requirements of applications and how these will be matched with the M2DC hardware/software platform.The optimizations are expected to improve system efficiency (by up to 10-100 the power/performance ratio).

M2DC real use cases with big data and HPC applications will drive further development of the M2DC platform: the image processing (CEWE), sensor data analytics (Vodafone Automotive), cloud PaaS (Beyond.pl) and HPC weather prediction and meteorological simulations (PSNC HPC centre).
